I am posting with only slight comment. I really thought it was an old model A pickup from a distance as it turned onto the road ahead. I caught up and realized quickly it was a wheel enthusiast.
My thoughts? I reserve them.
Your thoughts?

The Wrangler is a throwback in a lot of ways, the Unlimited is literally the only phaeton/touring car in production.

Shouldn’t it be a model a roadster pickup?

An interesting observation. There are too many divergent use cases to take it any further beyond resemblance in silhouette. The Model-T i s probably better suited towards a isolated field repairable existence in either past or retrofuture.

Doing something similar to a Gladiator might actually make it a practical vehicle...

The read wheels are awesome, but I can’t get behind it with asshole exposed tread.

In theory it would fail inspection here in Massachus etts got having those tires go beyond the edge of the fenders without mudflaps.

there are a lot of things to complain about, but i dearly miss those MA inspections. they kept a lot of crap off the road.

With at least 1.5 brake lights out.

Agreed. After going to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg museum Wranglers remind me of 1920's cars: body on frame, separate roof, separate fenders.

M y initial thought is that the owner is likely so far in debt they have torched their family’s financial future... but beyond that it’s not a bad look.

I guess since they are giving those trucks away already... the guy had plenty of spare change to buy The Wrong Wheels and Tires.

Most states have that law... I’m running de-flared on both my Mud Cruiser and Quadrasteer ‘Burban and have never been stopped for it though.

Found the Car Guy... but is it the “highly sought after” Lumina LTZ?

Thats as much a phaeton as the Cadillac Deville was a town car.

Waiting for someone to come out with a hardtop for the Gladiator to cover the bed so a 3rd row can be put in. It would mean removing the rear bulkhead and ditching the rear seats for buckets but it could be done. And it would be properly awesome.

No plate on the Jeep? Not even a temp tag?
